This weekend in Bay Area: Holiday Lighting & Winter Carnival

The annual building lighting at the Embarcadero Center, San Francisco starts today, Friday Nov 1, 2008.

We had a lot of fun the last time we went. Lots of free food, vendors would hand out coupons. The kids could make holiday arts & crafts to bring home. My daughter made snowflakes head band, and holiday ornament. We met Santa Claus, watched ice skating performance. Then at the end, we would head out to nearby Hyatt Regency Hotel lobby to see their tall Christmas tree and Snow village collection and lots of Christmas light decoration.

Tip: Get for an hour of FREE parking with lunch validation and 2 hour for dinner validation.
